Getting started

What do I actually need before I can use this?#

You need five things.

  1. A machine that is always on. A VPS (a rented computer you access remotely), or a home computer you leave running. The agent needs to run to place bets on time.
  2. A Multilogin subscription. Multilogin is a separate product that keeps each bookmaker account in its own isolated browser. You buy it directly from Multilogin.
  3. One UK static proxy per bookmaker account. A proxy is a real home or business internet connection the agent uses to reach the bookmaker. It needs to be static, so the account keeps the same IP, and UK, to match where you are betting. You buy these from a proxy provider.
  4. Funded accounts at the supported bookmakers. You open these yourself. The money is yours. We have no access to it.
  5. An active subscription to this service. Either Mug Bot or Value Bot.

The setup guide covers each step in full. Read it before you sign up.

How long does setup take?#

We will publish a real time estimate in the setup guide once the agent software is finished. TODO(agent): setup time estimate For now: it is not quick. Expect several hours, not minutes.

Do I need to know anything about coding?#

No coding needed. The setup does involve running commands in a terminal, so you should be comfortable with that. If you have never used one before, the setup will feel unfamiliar, but there is a step-by-step guide.

Which bookmakers does it work with?#

Five bookmakers are supported: Paddy Power and Sky Bet (both on the Flutter odds provider), and Monopoly Casino, Double Bubble Bingo and Jackpot Joy (all on Kambi). If your bookmaker is not on this list, this product does not cover it.

How it works

Does it really place bets by itself?#

Yes. Our servers find value bets and send placement instructions to the agent on your machine. The agent opens the right Multilogin profile, routes traffic through the assigned proxy, and places the bet on your account. For Mug Bot, the same process places mug bets instead.

What is a mug bet and why does the software make bets that lose?#

A mug bet is an ordinary looking bet placed on your account to make it look like normal activity. Bookmakers flag accounts that only ever place value bets. The pattern stands out, so they restrict those accounts.

Mug bets break up that pattern. They are not value bets, and they are expected to lose a little over time. That is not a bug. It is the cost of keeping accounts open long enough to place value bets on them.

What happens if the odds change while a bet is being placed?#

Odds can move between when our servers find a value bet and when the agent places it. Before placing, the agent checks the current odds are still close enough to the ones it found. If they have moved too far, it skips the bet and logs it as drifted. We control how much movement counts as too far. It is not something you can change.

Can I still use my bookmaker accounts manually while the agent is running?#

This is something to confirm before you sign up. TODO(product): guidance on manual account use alongside the agent The agent uses dedicated Multilogin profiles and proxies for each account. Logging into the same account from another browser at the same time could cause conflicts, or get it flagged. We will publish clear guidance on this in the setup guide.

Money and risk

Whose money is being bet?#

Yours. The money sits in your bookmaker accounts. You deposit it and withdraw it. We cannot access your accounts or move your money.

Can you access my money or my bookmaker accounts?#

No. Your bookmaker username and password are entered on your own machine during setup and stored in a local file there. They are never sent to our servers, and we have no way to use them.

Will I definitely make money?#

No. Value betting gives you a positive edge over a large number of bets. But individual bets win and lose, and results over any period are not guaranteed. A run of losing bets is normal, even with a real edge.

We make no promises about profit, return, or income from using this product.

Will my bookmaker accounts get restricted or closed?#

This is a real risk. Bookmakers look for automated value betting across multiple accounts. That is exactly what this product does. Accounts that show this pattern get restricted or closed. The question is when, not if.

Mug betting is designed to slow that down, not stop it. Expect this before you sign up.

Subscription

What does it cost?#

Each product has a one-time setup fee paid when you sign up and a monthly subscription after that. See the pricing page for the current prices.

Can I cancel any time?#

Yes. You cancel from the billing portal in your dashboard. Access continues until the end of your current billing period. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.

What happens to the software if I stop paying?#

The agent stops receiving placement instructions from our servers, so it no longer places bets. Your Multilogin profiles, proxies, and bookmaker accounts are unaffected. The agent software stays on your machine. You can resubscribe any time and it will reconnect.

Still have questions? Read our guide on using the software well, or check the pricing page for a full feature comparison.
